Ellis Creek Landing is a small gated community located west of Folly Road (James Island’s main thoroughfare) off Central Park Road. The neighborhood is just a mile away from the James Island connector, affording extremely convenient access to downtown Charleston, West Ashley and the interstate.
With just eight home sites, the newer neighborhood features marsh and pond views and gorgeous old live oaks. Some Ellis Creek Landing real estate is situated on the tidal James Island Creek, which provides boat access to the Charleston Harbor. Homes in the area were built in 2007 and 2008 and range in price from $500,000 to $1 million. Some lots on which to build are available and range from $280,000 to $400,000. Home sizes hover around 3,000–4,000 square feet.
Nearby amenities are plentiful and include Carmike Cinemas, a U.S. post office, Harris Teeter, Publix, several banks, Melvin’s Legendary Barbeque and Lowe’s Home Improvement.
