Eastwood

Eastwood is a gorgeous older neighborhood with high-end homes and waterfront real estate. The neighborhood is located off Fort Johnson Road, home to the Charleston Yacht Club and Sunrise Park (with its beach, dock and picnic pavilion) and it affords stunning views of the Charleston Harbor and the Ravenel Bridge. Waterfront Eastwood real estate is found along Wampler Drive, and many of these homes feature docks that access the harbor. Home prices along Wampler range from around $700,000 to almost $2 million.

Eastwood homes that are not right on the waterfront can run between $350,000 and $800,000 depending on size, condition and amenities. The yards and neighborhood streets throughout Eastwood are flanked with old-growth live oaks and other classic Southern landscaping elements, such as mature azaleas and palms.

Eastwood real estate is diverse in regards to age with some homes dating to the late 1940s and others that were built as late as 2007. Square footages vary as well from around 2,000 square feet on up to 4,500 square feet.

Eastwood is close to Harborview Road, which features several grocery stores, banks and restaurants and which provides access to the James Island connector, downtown Charleston and beyond via a short 10-minute drive. Folly Beach is about 30 minutes from Eastwood.
